Tony Wright, from Anchorage, participated in YCombinator in the class of 2008 for RescueTime.com. After YCominator, Tony raised a Series A round and built the company to profitability (with 2 great co-founders-- one of which was also from Anchorage, Brian Fioca). Tony’s list of accomplishments include the following:

Lowell has started 4 companies. He started one of the first IT Staffing and Consulting firms in Anchorage in the early 80s His most recent venture was Qivliq -a Telecom and IT services company supporting federal government contracting. Lowell has over 36 active years in the business community.
Al Hermann is an Assistant Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Alaska Anchorage and is also a consultant for the Center for Economic Development at the University of Alaska. He is the founder and Managing Member of the Alaska Angel Investors, LLC.
He has over 35 years of financial and operations experience. His extensive experience encompasses working at the senior management level with Fortune 500 companies and small privately help entities. While he was the Vice President of Finance for U.S. Operations at Lanier Worldwide he was responsible for closing twenty-six acquisitions and two divestitures over an eight year period. As the CFO of four start-up ventures, spanning several industries, he helped raise capital, both equity and debt and built the financial and operations infrastructures. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for American Office Products and Global Tech Financial. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Temple University and a MBA in finance from Drexel University.
